If you fulfil the requirements for the advertised position you will be invited for an interview. If this results in our being convinced by you and you convinced by us, employment follows or test training in the case of a physically demanding activity. There, your endurance and strength will be tested. But have no fear: you do not need to be a top athlete because your fitness – as well as all the other job skills – will be trained regularly during your employment. 

Your entrance into our professional world begins with basic training at the Swiss Professional Security Academy (SBSS), the training academy of Securitas AG – free of charge. No matter what job, it starts with a basic training course (basic training), consisting of theory, e-learning and a final examination. The course will prepare you with demanding and targeted training topics for your future job. Subsequently, these topics will be taken up again and pursued in practice during induction into the various activities.

Depending on the field of activity you will subsequently complete the Guarding Services course, the Event and Traffic Services course or the Security Services course, respectively.

Depending on your suitability and experience you can specialise. Would you like to work in reception, lodge or traffic services? For this you have to attend further training courses free of charge in order to start working in your new environment. The course contents support the practical induction into your future field of activity.

Securitas offers you specific further training following appropriate basic training. It includes theoretical and practical training and is completed by a final examination as a rule. 

If you have the required experience and aptitude, attend specific further training which will optimally prepare you for your tasks. It takes several days and includes theoretical as well as practical training, physical tests and final examinations. 

After some years of work experience we offer you the possibility to obtain federally recognised professional certification. We have two professional training programmes:

a) Professional training as a security and guarding specialist
b) Professional training as a property and close protection specialist

Depending on their aptitude employees with managerial and technical functions as well as completed management training course (MTC) can receive service ranks. For employees paid by the month there are the following ranks: Chief of Department, Chief of Service, First Chief of Group, Chief of Group and Apointee. Employees paid by the hour can be promoted to Auxiliary Chief. 

For Securitas employees with management potential we offer internal management and technical training. They have the possibility to do training for Head of Operation, Supervisor or Head of Command Sector.
